Aleta Canady is the proud owner of Whisperwind Inc. The Whisperwind kennel is located in Yorktown, Virginia and most famous as the site surrender of British General Cornwallis to American General George Washington during the American Revolutionary War on October 19, 1781. This British defeat at Yorktown effectively ended the war and started a birth of a nation.

Aleta travels all over the east coast of the United States presenting dogs for her clients an occasionally travels to national shows from Florida to Washington state and Canada. Aleta has been professionally handling dogs for twenty plus years. Her first breed was Collies and then branched out into Shetland Sheepdogs (shelties). Today she does Professional All Breed Handling and is a proud member of the PHA.

Whisperwind has a very successful breeding program producing beautiful pets and National Champion show dogs. Aleta travels each year to the ASSA "American Shetland Sheepdog National" she returns with multiple Whisperwind dogs and client dogs that have placed in this prestigious show.
